R&R Ceramics is a family owned and operated tile business that has been in business since 1946 by the Silveri family. Today, the company enjoys a position as one of the premier installers of ceramic tile, Porcelain, Marble, Natural stone, and Glass in Southeast Michigan. Meeting the demands of all Residential and Commercial requirements, R&R is known for the complete range of installation methods, representing the finest builders throughout Michigan. Their attention to detail and vast knowledge of the tile trade make this possible. Three generations have provided these services in residential, commercial, and remodeling construction. While using proven installation methods with today’s innovations, R&R meets all consumers’ needs.

Today, R&R Ceramics stands for loyalty, dedication and quality workmanship; these were the same principles upon which the company was built over 70 years ago. In, 1934, Nicholas Silveri came to the United States from Italy when he was only 17 years old. Seeking a promising future for his wife and children, he began working for family and friends in any construction related capacity that he could. Overtime, his eye for detail and hard work ethic lent themselves to being a successful tile contractor. In 1946, Nicholas broke off on this own and formally founded R&R Ceramics with services including installing ceramic tile and marble in residential and commercial settings.

In 1973, Nicholas proudly passed his business onto his two sons, Robert and Richard, who, through their hard work and perseverance, have since grown the company to a level never imagined. As the building industry changed, so did they. Instead of only working with ceramic tile and marble, they expanded their realm of expertise to include stone, porcelain and granite. They actively sought out newer products and methods that could make their work more effective and efficient. However, the company’s quest for quality and high standards never wavered. In the 1990s, the third generation of Silveri’s began to work in the business and now three of Nicholas’s grandchildren take pride in contributing to their family’s legacy.
